weekend breakfast::at home

::The night before, par-bake your favorite pizza crust.

::Next morning, preheat the oven as hot as it will go.

::Top the crust with your favorite breakfast items and bake it until everything is cooked to your liking.

::(Decide that next time, you should probably crack the raw eggs directly onto the crust.)

::Serve with hot coffee, grated Parmesan, and maybe even some sriracha.

::Breakfast pizza. A civilized way to start your day, despite the kids fighting in the background, the dog barking in the yard, and the cold wind whipping around your house.

  1. 'Maybe' some sriracha? Come on. ;)

    The most important meal of the day has rarely looked so delicious, Tara. Thank you so much for sharing!

  2. Jonathan - Yeah, I know, there is no 'maybe' in this house where sriracha is concerned. I just don't want to push it on the uninitiated. ;)

  4. Silky - Ah, it's simply one of the best, most addictive hot sauces out there. I put it on everything. Do you like spicy food? If so, you must get some. It's popular enough now that most grocery stores carry it, usually in the Asian food section. The only brand I've ever seen is Huy Fong, easily identifiable by the big rooster on the bottle. (They also make a really fabulous chili garlic sauce.) Good luck!
